Nestled along the banks of the Hawesbury River lies the picturesque village of Wisemans Ferry. Named after the convict entrepreneur Solomon Wiseman. The area is steeped in history. Surround by national parks and steep escarpments you feel like you are in another world. We are an easy journey on uncrowded roads just over an hour from Sydney CBD.
Facilities
We can offer a variety of accommodation overlooking the river, the golf course or our landscaped gardens. The 54 rooms are very comfortably and tastefully furnished with full air-conditioning and ensuite facilities. All rooms have either a king or queen bed.

Business Facilities
The Retreat is one of the few venues in NSW that offers genuine dedicated conference facilities. The owner of the Retreat, Barry Topple, is an experienced trainer and really understands the special needs of conference organisers and facilitators.
Our conference complex was designed as a specialist facility - not as a multi-purpose building that could be used for meetings one day, a wedding the next, followed by a dinner. The hi-tech centre is fully air-conditioned and has an abundance of natural light but with full blackout facilities. High speed data links to external data sources can be networked throughout the centre via specially designed floor boxes.
