Coastal Productions has been an important part of the event industry in South-East Queensland since 1988. Fully Australian owned and operated, Coastal Productions has a proven record over the years in the event production and specialist theming industry. A client list featuring high profile corporate clients, leading Professional Conference Organisers and the majority of the International Hotels in South-East Queensland is testimony to the creative and professional work ethic at Coastal Productions.

The success of Coastal Productions is owed to a firm belief in the essentials of customer service, creativity and a very personable, hands-on approach by the directors of the company, all of whom were an integral part of the Conrad Jupiters convention centre team in the mid-eighties. Directors

Mark Souter
Mark was previously with Hilton Hotels before establishing Coastal Productions in 1988. With a sound knowledge of convention centre operations, show production and audiovisual equipment, Mark has ensured the success and steady growth of the business.

Gary Looke
Gary's background is in the electrical trades area. Holding a technical role in Convention Centre operations for many years, Gary's extensive experience in the convention & events area, combined with his natural creativity and hands on involvement in each event, ensures happy clients that come back year after year.

Ian Phillips
Ian joined the company as a Director in 2001 after 25 years experience in the hospitality industry, including lengthy periods of service at both Conrad Jupiters and Marriott Surfers Paradise Resort where he assumed senior roles in the event management, food and beverage and sales areas. Ian's role is to market the company domestically and internationally and to keep abreast of latest trends in the event industry.
